My name is Katya and I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying).
I first got acquainted with psychotherapy in 2014. At that time I found myself overwhelmed with stress and anxiety until I fortuitously stumbled upon the transformative power of Therapy. Little did I know, this discovery would unlock a whole new realm of possibilities for me.
It was as if a hidden treasure trove of knowledge had been kept from me all this time.
I delved into the world of therapy, and few years later I started my training in psychotherapy. I successfully completed the Five Year Program in Psychotherapy at the Gestalt Institute of Toronto, and I am proud to be a member in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) as well as a member of The Canadian Association for Psychodynamic Therapy professional association.
To ensure the highest level of competence, I have dedicated over 400 hours to my own personal therapy, engaged in regular supervision and peer supervision of clinical cases, and continuously pursued professional development opportunities.
I have encountered a remarkable tapestry of trials throughout my life: emigration to Canada, divorce, burnout, depression, career transition, and various other upheavals. These experiences have served to fortify my resilience and enhance the quality of my life. Consequently, I am intimately familiar with the immense difficulty of facing such trials in solitude, and I want you to know that you don't have to endure your suffering alone.
I will help you to find your path to self,
personal development and growth –
and I will walk this path with you.
